Rangers assistant Gary McAllister has issued a positive update on his recovery following a brutal attack on the streets of Leeds.
The former Liverpool and Scotland midfielder reportedly lost three teeth and required 12 stitches following the shocking incident last month.
There were suggestions the assailant may have been wearing a knuckle duster or similar device, while he was reported to have hospitalised four other people, including two women.
McAllister subsequently missed the Gers’ 2-1 defeat to Celtic on March 31, but returned to the dugout for the two most recent matches.
